The group’s vision for the Park in its Terms of Reference is:

“ Dartmouth Park is considered to be the foremost historic urban park in West Bromwich. SMBC with the FoDP and other local stakeholders will work towards achieving an easily accessible, safe, attractive and welcoming high quality heritage park, which meets the needs of everyone and which contributes to the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of the people now and for future generations. This highly valued park will continue to improve the quality of life in West Bromwich.”

We have over 200 members and if you would like to join the Friends of Dartmouth Park and help with its regeneration, please complete our Membership Form and post it, together with your subscription, to the address on the form. Your membership gives you a bi-monthly newsletter and quarterly events. Members are also invited to join us for an interesting coach outing and a great Christmas Party. Several of our members are also volunteer gardeners in the Sensory Garden and the photographs below, courtesy of the Express & Star, show what a great time we have in the Park. In the photograph on the left the members are joined by Cllr Maria Crompton and John R Satchwell, Project Manager for the Park.

The Friends of Dartmouth Park have formally adopted Sandwell MBC's Equality Policy, the Adult Safeguarding Policy, and Child Safeguarding Policy, which are attached in the PDF documents below:
