With the help of the Friends of Brunswick Park (who already have Arboretum status) the Friends group, in partnership with the Local Authority, are applying for Arboretum status for Dartmouth Park.

The Park has over 750 trees and at least 62 species, many of them specimen trees.

Attached is a map of trees produced as part of the restoration in 2009. The
map shows the location of each tree. A new survey has been commissioned.
